Description

This fern stands out because of its compact, slightly thickset appearance. With a frond length of 6-8 inch (15-20 cm), this Nephrolepis is counted among the smaller cultivars. Nevertheless, its dark green, lacy leaflets give it strikingly decorative looks, especially in the smaller pot sizes. ´Marisa´ combines well with other compact varieties like ´Boston Blue Bell´ and ´Duffii´ and also makes an attractive hanging plant. Its sturdy frame makes it an excellent alternative to ´Verona Lace´, to which it bears a striking similarity.
