Description

This tree fern can survive mild winters with protection from the cold. Covering the trunk is a good way to protect the fern from the cold. Plants with a trunk of at least 60 cm are more cold-resistant. The best thing to do is plant the fern in a sufficiently large container, so that it can easily be moved to a sheltered spot in the winter.
